Based in the North East of England, the company comprises three divisions:
Applaud Corporate, who specialise in providing enterprise level corporate performance management, collaboration & content management solutions to mid to large corporate business;
Applaud Digital, providing online presence and collaboration to SMEs; and
Applaud Technical, providing bespoke software development, middleware and strategy consultancy services.
Applaud are the developers of the award winning Vestri™ web application platform.
Vestri™ can underpin your complete range of web applications, with inbuilt web content management, and document management out of the box. There’s also a range of plug in modules such as KPI reporting, Risk Management, Enterprise Social Networking and soon to be launched Workflow/eForms. For organisations interested in performance management, Vestri™ offers a consolidated reporting dashboard & balanced scorecards allowing a full 360 view of performance from corporate aspirational objectives or outcomes with full drill down to KPI metrics, risk management & supporting documentation. The platform is .NET based utilising a Microsoft SQL Server database.
The company was formed in 2001, with a vision of providing a range of web based e-business solutions to mid to large enterprises. The company founders were experienced in the market, previously working on large scale e-business projects, enterprise application integration and transactional web solutions with such organisations as Attachmate and IBM.
Learning from our experiences and customer needs, our philosophy has been from day one to provide innovative enterprise solutions that deliver out of the box functionality or early business advantage at lower cost and with less risk than alternative solutions. The Vestri™ platform is the development of our early ideals, and enables organisations to benefit from our experience with easily deployable, flexible and scalable web based solutions.
Nowadays Applaud specialises in providing web solutions to a range of sectors including M&A, professional services, construction, public services and social housing sectors.
Applaud develops software which we believe to be of the highest quality, using the latest development tools, giving trustworthy predictable execution and compliance with industry best practice. Applaud employs staff with the requisite technical skills and ensures that customer satisfaction continues to be achieved through a process of regular communication and provision of software updates.
